Gene's Pond State Forest Campground is a Michigan state forest campground in Dickinson County, in the Upper Peninsula, at an elevation of 1162 feet. It has vault toilets but no flush toilets, no showers, no electric, water, or sewer hookups, and no wi-fi. Sites can be reserved in advance. The nearest hospital and pharmacy are both roughly twenty miles away, and the nearest gas station and convenience store are about five miles out, so this is a fairly remote, rustic setting suited to campers who do not need hookups or modern conveniences.
