This is a working campground for volunteers in the Guest Lighthouse Keeper program at 40 Mile Point Lighthouse, on the northern shoreline of Lake Huron in Presque Isle County's Lighthouse Park. It's an RV site where guest keepers live in their own rig while volunteering as docents in the lighthouse, tower, gift shop, or the relocated pilot house from the Steamer Calcite. There are four campsites with 50 amp electrical hookups, water, and sewer, sharing a campfire ring with firewood provided.
