Island Lake-Canoe Campground is a Michigan state park campground in Livingston County, at an elevation of 868 feet. This is a no-frills, walk-in or canoe-access style camping area with vault toilets but no flush toilets, showers, or Wi-Fi. There are no electric, water, or sewer hookups, making it suited to primitive camping. Sites can be reserved in advance. The campground sits close to Brighton, with a convenience store, gas station, and restaurant all about a mile away.
