Sites have no electric hookups, and the campground uses vault toilets rather than flush toilets, with no showers on site. Sites can be reserved in advance. It has a rustic, tent-and-basic-camping character typical of Michigan state park rustic units. The nearest town, with a convenience store, gas station, and restaurant, is about two to three miles away, and a grocery store is roughly three miles out.
